Thank you for taking interest in Prairie State Genetix originally from Central Illinois 309 I grew up there until I hitchhiked to California 2005 in 3 1/2 days on 11 rides with just $30 bucks, two bags of clothes, a Rand McNally map and a peace pipe. My dad Larry r.i.p dropped me off in Piggott Arkansas facing West, I'll never forget what was on the radio "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose" were the lyrics playing in his truck. 3 1/2 days later I was in Lake Tahoe.
Growing up in Pekin Illinois my good friends use to smoke the buds I would grow during the early 90's on Windsor street. A few still remember sitting on my front porch facing West and smoking bong loads talking about moving to California one day and growing bud. Well all those dreams became a reality in the many long years that followed.
From 2007 till 2011 I was in Denver Colorado for the big medical boom and craigslist clone days cutting my teeth. Then from 2012 till 2018 I was in the Los Angeles cannabis market where I was able to use those teeth and collected the best California has to offer. Now I have come full circle and reside in Lake Tahoe Nevada side. But Illinois will always be home in my heart.

Then in January 2020 Illinois went full on recreational legal so I decided to share my genetics with my home state. I love Illinois I love the people my family and my friends are from there and it will always be a part of me.
My mom died from cancer in 1999 if only her family knew that the real medicine was in the creek in the backyard instead of making me feel it was wrong. I saw the medicinal properties of cannabis at a young age. In 1995 I read a magazine with a man named Marc Emery called Cannabis Canada Magazine later changed to Cannabis Culture, it changed my life forever. I will always be in debt to people like Marc and books like the $100,000 Manicure by David Lawrence (a book that my Dad had on the bookshelf in the basement growing up) for opening my eyes as a 14 year old sitting in my basement reading High Times magazines alone and dreaming of legalization one day.
Over the years I have had the privilege of working the gardens of, booths and collaborative projects with some of the best in the business.
The sky and the heavens above are the only canopy in my grow room of life.
Sincere high quality level of hands on customer service, growing of cannabis knowledge and breeding experience. I make a commitment to not letting you down. My goal is to put fire gear in your garden and stock your garden with good stable genetics.
My crosses are from years of traveling and hunting landrace and rare seeds from around the world then doing pheno finds to select the best. As well as collecting clones from around the world and dialing them in then crossing them into selections to create new flavors. Very accurate cross pollination skills and an eye for hues, bag appeal, cash crops, terpene profiles etc.
This is a passion and a labor in love.
I now open my heart my garden and my genetics to you.
My Great Great Great Grandpappy William F.C Lehmann was born in Mecklenburg Germany in 1853. In 1871 at the age of 18 he immigrated to Peoria County in Illinois from Germany and worked on William Spicer's Farm for 4 years. Then in 1876 he rented his own farm in Chenoa Illinois which was 160 acres he worked successfully for 7 years. In 1882 he was able to purchase 120 acres partially developed in Oswego County Illinois Section 29 and expand it to fully developed 400 acres. My family roots started as proud German Illinois farmers and into this 21st century generations down the line I plan to keep the work with plants alive by providing cannabis genetics and representing Illinois.
